You know how sometimes you get an idea and throw it together and it turns out more delicious than it was in your head? Yeah, I made one of those for breakfast today. Wood fire oven rye, that I made at Farm School last week, slathered in butter, topped with thinly sliced ham and Swiss cheese. I poured egg and whole milk with herbs over the top, let it sit for an hour then baked it for 20 minutes. Eaten while reading A Girl and Her Pig and dreaming of a four week stay at the Kitchen at Camont. Oh man, am I ever happy right now.
