I fibbed just a little in that last post, I am now on vacation from school. Technically this morning I still had one more final and a cheese tasting to go to. We tasted milk, soft, and aged cheese from cow, goat and sheep milk. We had a delicious and informative presentation by Lynn Swanson from Glendale Shepard Creamery, http://glendaleshepherd.drupalgardens.com/. She brought in a sample of her raw sheep’s milk (it was amazing), and a cheese she had aged for about a year that was mind blowing. I plan to try and go to the farm in January or February to help with the new lambs, who doesn’t want to stay up for three days in a row feeding brand new baby lambs?!
